Tiondra Little
Tiondra Little works as the Leadership Development Specialist graduate assistant in the IU 21st Century Scholars Program at Indiana University Bloomington. She is deeply passionate about education, mental health, and the positive development of the world's next generation of leaders. In her role, she fulfills a wide range of responsibilities, each aimed at empowering scholars to reach their full potential. She oversees the coordination and planning of programs and events designed to foster the professional and academic development of scholars in STEM, all while integrating elements of mental health and wellness. Providing personalized support, she assists the scholars with course planning, resume and LinkedIn profile development, and crafting professional correspondence. Moreover, she spearheads leadership development initiatives for scholars involved in the ThinkTank organization, which is dedicated to advancing the 21st Century Scholars Program by identifying areas of growth. By gathering data and evaluating the impact of these efforts, she aids in ensuring the continued success of the 21st Century Scholars Program.
Tiondra is a second-year School Psychology Doctoral student with minors in Counseling Psychology and Race and Racism in Education. As a graduate student, she is involved in the leadership committee of the Holmes Scholar Program, as well as the Student Affiliates in School Psychology as communication chair. Previously, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Illinois State University in December 2022, with minors in African American Studies, Children’s Studies, and Sociology. Throughout her undergraduate career, she held leadership roles such as creating a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion peer mentor program within the Honors College, serving as president of the Theta Delta chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and being actively involved in the Black Student Psychology Association as the Historian and Treasurer.
Apart from her professional and academic pursuits, Tiondra is a proud biracial woman from the Chicagoland area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, playing card and board games, exploring new culinary experiences, and watching the latest movies.
