Erika Araujo
Erika Araujo is the Special Projects Coordinator in the IU 21st Century Scholars Program at Indiana University Bloomington. She is passionate about supporting undergraduate students during their academic journey at IU Bloomington and is looking forward to working with the 21st Century Scholars Program.
During her undergrad, Erika was involved at La Casa and served as the president of Latinos Unidos at IU. She also worked at the IU Auditorium as an Assistant Guest Services Manager. Erika holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Indiana University and was a proud Hudson and Holland Scholar as well as recipient of the Kate Hevner Mueller Senior Award. After earning her degree from IU, Erika worked at Middle Way House in their Prevention team, educating the community on how to build healthy relationships. She is thrilled to be back at IU in this new role.
She is originally from St. Paul Minnesota, but has called Indiana home for the past 12 years. Outside of work, Erika loves to read, is an avid viewer of movies and reality TV, and enjoys spending time with her loved ones and cats.
