21st Century Scholars will be open remotely from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Monday, March 16–Friday, March 20.

Founded in 1995, the IU 21st Century Scholars Program (IUB21CS), administered by the Office of Student Life, is the oldest and largest student support services department in the State of Indiana. The IUB21CS provide financial and academic resources to support, retain, and graduate thousands of 21st Century Scholars recipients at Indiana University Bloomington (IUB). As an IU 21st Century Scholar, you will have access to the academic guidance, mentoring, and advocacy support you’ll need to achieve your full potential at IUB. The IUB21CS is Ranked #1 in Indiana for the number of students receiving the 'first-dollar, full-tuition, need-based Indiana 21st Century Scholarship' at any four-year public or private university.

Hoosier Crossroads Grant

Starting in fall 2026, new first-year students with an adjusted gross income (AGI) of $60,000 or less and an unmet need may qualify for the Hoosier Crossroads Grant. The grant provides up to $5,500 in additional gift aid to assist with expenses beyond tuition, including housing, books, meals, and miscellanous costs.
