Why IU: “Both my parents - John P. Eady ‘01 and Stephanie R. Eady ‘94 -, my uncle Dr. Marvin Eady Jr. ‘85; ‘89, my aunt Trista R. Eady ‘94, and my older sister Aaryn Eady ‘16 attended Indiana University Bloomington so it runs in our family. I was very familiar with the campus, the city, and the community, and it wasn’t too far away from home; it just felt like the right fit!”

How Has 21st Century Scholar Program Helped You Succeed: “Aside from assisting me financially and making my college degree possible, the IU 21st Century Scholars Program has been very supportive and encouraging of my endeavors as a student through their academic programs and services. They go above and beyond to ensure that I am successful. I am truly honored to be an IU 21st Century Scholar at Indiana University Bloomington.”

Future Goals After IU: “After graduating, I hope to pursue a career in broadcast news reporting and anchor on-air. I hope to launch my career reporting hard news, and also pursue entertainment news reporting as well.”
